Anthropologie was founded by the current chairman of URBN Dick Hayne . The online store was made out of a plea form a friend who could not find anything amusing or worthy buying . She was dissatisfied . Now knowing her friends style and design thinking , Dick Hayne went forward and filled a void by creating a store through which you could indulge in your creative side. Dick Hayne created a  lifestyle brand that catered to the creative, educated and affluent 30- 45 year old woman.
