About Gill Marine

In 1975 A passionate dinghy sailor frustrated by a lack of specialist clothing for Dinghy sailing. During a 6- month Business Studies work experience project Nick Gill began to formulate and implement a business plan to manufacture and market sailing clothing. Later, Gill Marine appointed an official supplier to the British Americas Cup entry “Lionheart”. Through its dedication and focus to making ultra-technical sailing clothing, Gill has established itself as one of the largest and most distinguished sailing clothing brands in the world. Since 1975, Gill has been designing everything by listening to sailors and their needs and its waterproof gear has kept sailors comfortable in all conditions.
